On the PA Wilds visitor blog, there are lots of opportunities to delve deeper into the PA Wilds!

1. Artists can apply for the Allegheny National Forest’s Artist-In-Residence Program by March 17.
2. Two host communities, Saint Marys and Williamsport, were selected for the 2024 Wilds Are Working program, and they are accepting applications until April 19 from remote workers who would like to test out living in the PA Wilds for a month this summer.
3. PA Route 6 Alliance has an interactive map for travelers to see public art and murals along Route 6, with some great spots to explore in the PA Wilds.

On the PA Wilds Marketplace blog, Jill Forquer from Allegheny Nesting shares some memories of her first year of homesteading in the PA Wilds, including the ways that her kids are learning lots of life lessons.
