In PA Wilds media coverage, the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced that there will be rehabilitation project for the Kinzua Skywalk at Kinzua Bridge State Park. The renovations will begin after the 2024 fall foliage season, and the work is expected to last multiple years. The Skywalk is expected to reopen for two months each fall season, to allow for travelers to enjoy the fall foliage. The PA Wilds Center plans to have its own press release soon about the Skywalk renovations.

On the PA Wilds visitor blog, Ed Byers highlights Russell Stone in Clearfield County. Their stone products have been used in projects and buildings around the country, including the “Rocky” steps in Philadelphia and the Six&Kane energy efficient building in Kane. Also on the visitor blog, Forest Friday shares how common wildflowers can become not-so-common when they have variations, such as some notable double-flower varieties that were recently found in Tioga State Forest.
