On the PA Wilds Center blog, the deadline (April 18) is quickly approaching for applicants for the 2024 PA Wilds BIG IDEA Contest, in which entrepreneurs could win up to $50,000. Also on the PA Wilds Center blog, there is a Request for Proposals for a Wilds Cooperative of PA Governance Planning Consultant, with responses due by June 7.

On the PA Wilds visitor blog, there is advice from Leave No Trace about whether or not it’s ever okay to take a souvenir from nature, along with suggestions of how to remember your outdoor adventure instead… including by purchasing a souvenir from a PA Wilds Conservation Shop! Forest Fridays also has a nice piece about the spring season.
