In the PA Wilds Center blog, you’ll find the exciting news about the EDA funding that the PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship will receive, along with information about how it will be used for six plans over the next three years to further the Center’s mission. Also on the PA Wilds Center blog, there is a recap of the Allegheny National Forest’s Centennial celebration and the Center’s presence at the event. There is also the October post of the monthly PA Wilds partner opportunities and resources roundup.

On the PA Wilds visitor blog, Lou Bernard’s annual Ghosts of the PA Wilds series has started! Look for a new spooky historical story each Monday in October. Western PA Conservancy contributed news of new public lands that were added to Elk State Forest, and the PA DCNR Bureau of Forestry contributed another fall piece in their Forest Fridays series.

In the Wilds Cooperative of Pennsylvania blog, there is a recap of the fall WCO membership meeting that took place on the same day as the grand opening of the PA Wilds Media Lab in Kane.
