September 22 Weekly PA Wilds News Digest
September 22, 2023 Weekly Digest: Recent News from the PA Wilds
The PA Wilds Weekly Digest is a roundup of news articles about the PA Wilds, the region’s public lands and its Landscapes and Journeys that have been published over the past week.
Note: some of the news websites may have paywalls that prevent you from reading their content.
In the PA Wilds blog, we published the full schedule of events for the Allegheny National Forest’s Centennial Celebration, as well as a call for organizations to include items for the centennial time capsule. (Ashley and Britt will be attending the event on Sunday at Twin Lakes, and the PA Wilds Center will put a signed copy of the Declaration of Principles in the time capsule.) The PA Wilds blog also used a Forest Fridays article to highlight some very timely fall foliage facts.
