The PA Wilds Weekly Digest is a roundup of news articles about the PA Wilds, the region’s public lands and its Landscapes and Journeys that have been published over the past week.

In media coverage of the PA Wilds region, many of the local state parks are hosting events for DCNR’s “Remake Learning Days” program. CNN also featured a story about the lack of hospital delivery rooms in rural Pennsylvania.

On the PA Wilds visitor blog, DCNR has announced that permits are available for the Northcentral Regional ATV Trail, which runs through Clinton, Lycoming, Potter, and Tioga Counties. Also on the visitor blog, the Lycoming Audubon Society gives tips on how to help birds by simply birdwatching.

On the PA Wilds Center blog, there is a new Request For Proposal, asking for responses for a Strategic Plan for Fundraising Consultant. In addition, the finalists were announced in 2024 PA Wilds $50,000 BIG IDEA Contest.

On the PA Wilds Marketplace blog, WCO member and PA Wilds Marketplace artisan Curt Weinhold has an exhibit at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center in Wellsboro, featyring his dark skies photography.
