In media coverage, the PA Wilds region and the PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship were featured in multiple large news stories.
The plan for low flyover jets in portions of the PA Wilds, known as the Duke low MOA, has been rescinded. Many diverse and bipartisan officials and organizations (including the PA Wilds Center) gave feedback on the original Duke low MOA plan, saying that it would have unintended environmental and economic consequences.
The Kinzua Skywalk at Kinzua Bridge State Park will be temporarily closed over the next multiple years for rehabilitation starting after this fall, with plans to reopen for two months each fall foliage season for tourism with construction is still ongoing. The PA Wilds Center has a press release on how the Center is preparing for the rehabilitation plans.
