PA Wilds Center seeking wholesale partners for branded merchandise
The PA Wilds Center, a regional nonprofit, is looking for wholesale partners to help bring PA Wilds-branded t-shirts and ball caps to market.
Several new landmark visitor centers have opened in the Pennsylvania Wilds region in recent years, helping to create a new market for PA Wilds-branded merchandise. These include the Elk Country Visitor Center, the Wildlife Watching Center at Sinnemahoning, the Bald Eagle Nature Inn, the PA Lumber Museum, and a new visitor center being built at Kinzua Bridge State Park. In addition, various events, organizations and independent retailers have shown interest in carrying PA Wilds-branded merchandise.
The PA Wilds Center, which manages the PA Wilds trademark, is looking to partner with wholesalers who offer great customer service, quality products, competitive prices and who care about the environment and their community. We want our partners to get to know us and our brand, and grow with us as our region’s tourism industry grows. We don’t just want a supplier. We want a collaborator.
Our licensing system is set up to be win-win-win – the wholesaler makes money, the retailer makes money, and a portion of proceeds go back to the PA Wilds Center in the form of royalties to support its nonprofit mission, which is to help grow the region’s nature and heritage tourism industry in a way that creates jobs, diversifies local economies, inspires stewardship, and improves quality of life. We are looking for products made in the USA, ideally with some portion – printing or design – occurring in PA.
