On the PA Wilds visitor-facing blog, the Watershed Journal has its first official blog in its new A Watershed Moment series, featuring poems and short stories each month from writers who love this region.Kalie Schmader also has a piece about gravel biking in Cameron County and how one event aims to help mental health and physical activity. Lumber Heritage Region contributed a piece about a new interpretive panel at the Austin Dam Ruins, telling the story of a brave woman and her boarding house that help to save lives during the flood.
A quick reminder from the WCO blog that visual artisans and graphic designers are encouraged to apply for the Artisan Collaborative by August 16.
The new Partner Opportunities blog is up for August 2024, sharing resources and opportunities for businesses and organizations.
The next Makers Market on the PA Wilds Marketplace will be October 19. Artisans are encouraged to apply by the end of August to be featured in the Makers Market.
