PA Wilds Center Seeks Communications Director

The PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, Inc. (PA Wilds Center), is seeking a qualified Communications Director. The Communications Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will have significant internal and external roles. Work will include overseeing specific programs and helping with others; overseeing staff, contractors and special projects as assigned; managing the organization’s public communications and some partnerships; and participating in an organization-wide effort to put processes, platforms and systems in place to allow for more efficient and effective internal communications, metrics tracking and operations.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented leader and manager with proven experience. PA Wilds Center is a virtual organization with senior staff working from home offices or remote locations in different counties across the region.

As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must believe in the core values of the Center and be driven by the nonprofit’s mission. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for breaking new ground to lead social change. Beyond that, the candidate will have proven experience in scaling a multi-site organization and a demonstrated ability to both lead and build the capabilities of a driven, bright, diverse team. The successful candidate will most likely have had management experience with a for-profit or nonprofit organization.
